Reporters recently learned from the 2023 World Robot Conference: In 2022, my country's installed industrial robot capacity will account for more than 50% of the world's total, ranking firmly in the world's largest industrial robot market, with a manufacturing robot density reaching 392 units per 10,000 workers.

Robots are an important component of the modern industrial system and a key tool for the intelligent transformation of the economy and society. They will drive human society to accelerate into the intelligent era.

According to reports, the scale of my country's robot industry has continued to grow in recent years. In 2022, the operating income of the robot industry will exceed 170 billion yuan, maintaining double-digit growth. The output of industrial, service, and special robots has grown rapidly; brand strength has continued to increase, and specialization in the field of robots is new. There are 273 "little giant" companies, and 10 robot companies have grown into individual champions in the manufacturing industry; market applications have accelerated, and service and special robots have achieved large-scale application in fields such as logistics, medical care, and construction.

At present, robots show development characteristics such as human-machine fusion, virtual and real fusion, intelligent drive, and ubiquitous interaction, and the industry is gradually approaching the critical point of transformation and advancement. It is understood that my country has the world's largest robot market and the richest application scenarios. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will further promote the "Robot+" application action, accelerate the popularization and promotion of mature scenarios, encourage early exploration in emerging fields; strengthen central and local coordination , jointly cultivate world-class robot industry clusters and application demonstration bases.
