On May 12, the "Construction Robotics - Paint Master Competition x Wulin Conference" organized by the Hong Kong Housing Bureau concluded with resounding success. The Spray-scraping & Sanding Integrated Robot for home decoration, a flagship product of Suzhou Fangshi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Fangshi Technology"), delivered an exceptional performance and stood out with its superior capabilities. 

The competition focused on practical applications and innovative breakthroughs in construction robotics technology. Centered on the theme "Co-building·Intelligence," it aimed to accelerate the implementation of construction robotics innovations. Top-tier tech enterprises from mainland China and Hong Kong participated in this high-profile showdown. 

The judging panel, led by Hong Kong Housing Bureau’s Secretary Ho Wing-yin and comprising representatives from the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Construction Industry Council, and industry experts, evaluated participants based on technical performance, efficiency, paint coating quality, and safety standards. 

Among the competing robots, Fangshi Technology’s solution earned high praise for its outstanding efficiency and stability, ultimately securing the second-place honor as the most efficient technical solution in the competition.

The Spray-scraping & Sanding Integrated Robot integrates putty spray-scraping, sanding, and emulsion painting functions. Equipped with a six-degree-of-freedom robotic arm and a lifting system, it enables fully automated construction across ceilings, walls, bay windows, and other interior surfaces. Field tests show the robot achieves 3-5 times the efficiency of traditional manual labor while reducing labor costs by over 90%.

During the competition, Fangshi’s robot completed standardized wall operations first. Its operating engineer promptly raised the "Spraying Completed" sign provided by the organizers, cementing its status as the efficiency champion. The robot’s technical maturity and intelligent capabilities received high acclaim from judges, showcasing Fangshi Technology’s expertise and innovation in smart construction.

Fangshi CMO Zhu Haiting stated, "This competition not only validated our technical strengths but also provided insights into Hong Kong’s unique market demands. We will initiate localized optimization plans to upgrade product modules according to regional residential requirements."
