WOCA 2026 with Great Success — Fangshi Robotics Steals the Spotlight
Release time: 2026-08-12

From August 12 to 14, World of Concrete Asia 2026 (WOCA 2026) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Beijing Fangshi Robotics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fangshi Robotics" or the "Company") showcased four construction robots at the event. Marking its first appearance at an international trade show following the completion of its Series A+ financing round, Fangshi Robotics became a key highlight of the exhibition's smart construction featured zone.

Concurrently, WOCA partnered with CABR Technology to host the "2026 Yangtze River Delta Smart Construction and Construction Robotics Global Expansion Conference," which gathered over 700 overseas buyers from more than 60 countries and regions, covering active infrastructure markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Russia. Fangshi Robotics participated in the conference's concurrent events and contributed to the compilation of the China Construction Robotics Global Expansion Report, engaging in exchanges and networking with overseas buyers and industry organizations.

On site, Fangshi Robotics showcased four of its core robot products, covering three major construction processes: concrete floor construction, indoor coating construction, and indoor thin-bed ceramic tile laying. Integrating advanced technologies in BIM, artificial intelligence, and big data, the series creates commercialized "embodied intelligence + large model" AI solutions for complex construction scenarios.

To date, the product series has been applied in over 500 benchmark projects at home and abroad, with a cumulative construction area exceeding 15 million square meters, and exported to more than 10 countries and regions worldwide, including India, the UAE, Singapore, Australia, Russia, and Japan.

Industry Peers Gather to Explore Opportunities

Throughout the three-day exhibition, the Fangshi booth maintained high foot traffic. In the demonstration area, many visitors lingered—some squatted down to inspect the mechanical structure of the robots, others touched the metallic texture of the chassis, and many raised their phones to record the complete process of the robotic arm spraying demonstration.

On site, the Fangshi team explained the technical features and application scenarios of each product to visiting guests one by one. When speaking with contractor representatives, they emphasized construction efficiency and economic benefits, while conversations with developers and design institutes focused more on how smart construction enhances project management and ensures standard construction quality.

The Fangshi booth also welcomed numerous overseas buyers from regions such as Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, and Europe. The team introduced the product line layout and overseas project deployment experience in English, engaging in in-depth exchanges on topics including local construction environment adaptation, after-sales service systems, and equipment import and export procedures.

After watching the live demonstrations, many overseas visitors showed keen interest in the high stability and high precision performance of the robots under real working conditions, proactively leaving their contact information to explore business cooperation.

"WOCA 2026 is an important platform for us to demonstrate our technical strength and expand international channels," said a representative from Fangshi Robotics. "The feedback from overseas buyers on site indicates that the demand for construction robotics in active infrastructure markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East is rapidly releasing."

Fangshi Goes Global: Accelerating International Expansion

Currently, the construction industry faces profound structural labor challenges. Statistics show that workers over the age of 45 account for more than 60% of frontline construction labor, while young workers under 30 are severely scarce; the shortage of labor is evolving from a cyclical fluctuation into a long-term trend. Meanwhile, China continues to expand its pilot cities for smart construction, transforming "replacing human labor with machines" from a policy advocate into an urgent industry need. It is against this backdrop that Fangshi Robotics' end-to-end intelligent construction solutions are accelerating their market deployment.

While accelerating its deployment in the domestic market, Fangshi Robotics' intelligent construction capabilities are also winning widespread attention in overseas markets. Since the second half of the year, the company's pace of going global has visibly quickened.

In June, the company officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dubai KCG Construction Group, a leading specialized contractor in the Middle East and North Africa, establishing a core partnership in the Middle East. In July, Fangshi Robotics shipped batches of equipment to multiple overseas markets, including Russia, India, and Dubai, UAE. At WOCA, the Fangshi booth received inquiries from international buyers representing numerous countries, further expanding its global market reach.

While WOCA 2026 has concluded, the global expansion of Chinese construction robotics continues to accelerate. Taking this exhibition as a new starting point, Fangshi Robotics will continue to deepen the application of its core "embodied intelligence + large model" technologies in the construction field, accelerate its global strategic rollout, and drive the intelligent upgrade and sustainable development of the construction industry through technological innovation.
