From October 7 to 10, 2026, the International Building Exhibition (SAIE Bologna 2026) was held at the Bologna Exhibition Centre. As Italy's largest and most influential construction industry trade fair, SAIE is also a renowned event for building and interior decoration across Europe and worldwide.

As a leading construction trade show in Europe and globally, the exhibition attracted over 500 internationally renowned enterprises and more than 60,000 international professional visitors. Fangshi Robotics presented its Concrete Power Floating and Troweling Robot and the new-generation Spray-scraping & Sanding Integrated Robot JPD433D. As a mature mass-produced model in Fangshi’s indoor finishing robotics series, the JPD433D made its debut in Europe with an upgraded next-generation design after extensive verification and iteration across hundreds of jobsites domestically and internationally.

Currently, the shortage of construction labor is one of the most severe and widespread issues in Europe. According to estimates by the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC), the EU will require approximately 2 million additional construction workers by 2030, creating an urgent demand for construction robotics across Europe.

The new-generation Spray-scraping & Sanding Integrated Robot, iterated from the original model, features a robotic arm with a larger 12 kg payload, a multi-modal integrated end-effector, and a brand-new intelligent navigation system. Supported by integration with the Argos system, it offers 3D scene reconstruction, spatial perception and positioning, fully autonomous task design and operation planning, and optimal construction scheme generation. Achieving a full-loop closed chain of "Perception–Decision–Execution," the robot delivers smoother motion, faster speeds, and higher positioning accuracy, providing a smarter interactive experience to solve multiple challenges facing the European construction industry.

Tailored specifically for local customers, the exhibited product featured a brand-new, limited-edition visual appearance in minimalist white. As its 6-axis robotic arm articulated smoothly, the robot drew strong attention from professional visitors—including engineering contractors, procurement specialists, and building material suppliers—from countries around the globe, such as Italy, Germany, and Poland.

During the same event, the Concrete Power Floating and Troweling Robot was showcased on-site. Designed for large-scale mortar leveling operations, this robot provides a high-precision base layer for subsequent thin-bed tiling, achieving a surface precision of ±1 mm / 7 m—far exceeding industry standards.

The showcase attracted over 10,000 visitors who stopped to observe, with nearly 200 local Italian and European enterprises expressing clear intent for cooperation. Furthermore, the full series of Fangshi Spray-scraping & Sanding Integrated Robots recently obtained EU CE certification, injecting powerful momentum into the company's global expansion.

During the event, the Fangshi Robotics team warmly received guests and held in-depth discussions on key topics, including the intelligent development path of the construction industry, the efficiency and cost advantages of robotics, European market access, delivery training, and after-sales service systems.
